Around Vízvár common nase, chub, ide, common barbel, every species of bream, but especially asp can be found fresh waters. At deeper parts of the river with slower reach catfish can be caught, while in autumn you can find northern pike and zander at shallow parts. Despite the rather fast reach of the river, huge grass carp hide in the river.
